40层高的“瑞士塔”坐落在迪拜最大的免税区—DMCC。塔高达167米。在2010年正式竣工。瑞士商务委员会于2012年早期已入驻“瑞士塔”。
近期，有150多位高层出席了“瑞士塔”的开幕式，包括瑞士理事会主席，H.E.Filippo Lombardi ; DMCC执行主席Ahmed Bin Sulayem; 瑞士大使H.E. Andrea Reichlin; 瑞士总领事Walter Deplazes以及瑞士塔临时业主协会。
开幕式间，DMCC执行主席Ahmed Bin Sulayem说道：“选择DMCC以及Jumeirah Lakes Towers作为瑞士塔的坐落处，不仅加强了日内瓦和迪拜之间的贸易，也增进了双方友好的城市往来。”
DMCC目前是迪拜最大的，也是发展最迅速的免税区。有超过7400个成员。其中150家成员是瑞士公司。Ahmed Bin Sulayem 最后说道“我们确信坐落于DMCC免税区的瑞士塔能为瑞士企业创造世界一流的环境。”
The 40floor tower in the DMCC Free Zone, the largest free zone in the UAE, has a total structural height of 167m.
Construction of the SwissTower was completed in 2010 and the Swiss Business Council Dubai & Northern Emirates moved in early 2012.
The opening ceremony was attended by over 150 dignitaries including Swiss President of the Council of the States, H.E. Filippo Lombardi; Ahmed Bin Sulayem, Executive Chairman, DMCC ; Swiss Ambassador, H.E. Andrea Reichlin; Walter Deplazes, Consul General Switzerland; and Urs Stirnimann, chairman of Swiss Tower Interim Owner Association.
During the ceremony, Ahmed Bin Sulayem, Executive Chairman, DMCC commented: "Choosing DMCC and Jumeirah Lakes Towers as the destination for Swiss Tower further highlights the strong trading ties between Geneva and Dubai as 'sister cities', and the strength of Dubai as a global hub for commodities trade and enterprise.
“DMCC is now the UAE's largest and fastest growing free zone with over 7,400 members with over 150 Swiss member companies.
“We are certain that the establishment of SwissTower creates a world-class environment for Swiss corporations here at the DMCC Free Zone.”
