阿曼计划建立液化石油气厂

阿曼煤气公司董事长Yousuf Al Ojaili表示公司计划建立液化石油气加工厂。

他指出工厂总耗资5亿美元，每天能够生产800吨液化石油气。石油气的主要成分为丙烷和丁烷。生产的石油气大部分供应给阿曼国内。

Yousuf Al Ojaili告诉路透社：“我们产品的重点是放在国内市场，针对国内用户并且希望以此鼓励新产业的发展。如果有剩余的石油气，我们将用来出口。”

Ojaili 表示他希望这个项目在2015年之前设计完成，并在2018年投入生产。项目60%的资金来源于国内和国际的银行，剩下的资金来源于阿曼政府。

液化石油气厂生产出来的石油气主要用于烹饪，当然也可以用来加热以及为一些交通工具提供动力。

原文：Oman Gas Company (OGC) plans tobuild a liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) processing plant, the company's chiefexecutive said.

The complex, whichhe said would cost about $500 million, could produce up to 800 tons a day ofLPG, mainly propane and butane, the vast majority of which will be consumed in Oman.

"Our mainfocus is the local market, for endusers and to encourage new industries,"Yousuf Al Ojaili told Reuters.

"We also havethe option to export the surplus, if any."

Ojaili said heexpected the design phase of the project to be done by early 2015, with theplant starting up by 2018.

Sixty percent ofthe projected cost is expected to be financed by local and international banks,with the rest funded by the government of Oman, he said.

State-controlledOGC runs Oman'sgas network and will use the new facility to extract propane, butane and gascondensate from gas flowing through the grid in the south of the country.

LPG is mainly usedfor cooking but can also be used for heating and to fuel some vehicles.
