迪拜完成对克茨纳重大股权的收购

                       

本周二，迪拜投资公司宣布完成对领先的国际酒店运营商克茨纳国际控股有限公司重大股权的收购。该酒店营运着朱美拉棕榈岛亚特兰蒂斯酒店。

迪拜投资公司还表示，收购的股权来自于克茨纳家族和一些其他的投资机构。但是收购股权的规模和价值并没有公开。

美联社引用迪拜投资公司的官方言论表示该公司目前拥有超过40%的克茨纳股份。

迪拜首屈一指的投资公司伊斯提什马尔公司拥有25%的克茨纳股份。高升投资公司和柯罗尼资本的某些子公司将会继续持有克茨纳股份。

克茨纳国际控股有限公司运营着世界知名的One&Only和Atlantis品牌。在迪拜有三家度假酒店，巴哈马群岛有两家，更多的是在毛里求斯、马尔代夫、墨西哥、南非，并且将会在澳大利亚建立新的度假酒店。

Investment Corporation of Dubai (ICD) announced on Thursdaythat it  has completed the purchase of a significant equity interest inthe leading international hotel operator Kerzner International HoldingsLimited, which runs the iconic Atlantis Hotel on Palm Jumeirah.

The equitypurchase, the size and value of which were not disclosed, was from the Kerznerfamily, and several other institutional investors, ICD said in a statement.

A sourceaware of the matter told Reuters the stake was about 46 per cent, while theAssociated Press quoted an ICD official as saying the company now owns a stakeof more than 40 per cent.

Dubai’s premier investment company, IstithmarWorld, a unit of state-owned conglomerate Dubai World, which already owns 25per cent of Kerzner International, and certain affiliates of Goldman Sachs andColony Capital will continue to have holdings in Kerzner International HoldingsLimited (KIHL).

 KIHL operates globallyunder the world-renowned One&Only and Atlantis brands, with internationalpresence, significantly in Dubai with three resorts, two resorts in TheBahamas, and more in Mauritius, the Maldives, Mexico, South Africa and soon inAustralia.  The strategic move by ICD in the hotel and tourism sector in Dubai follows itsacquisition earlier this year of Atlantis, The Palm resort.
