上周日，迪拜房地产开发商Deyaar宣布公司股东会已经批准给外国人持有公司25%的股份。

Shareholdersof Dubaiproperty developer Deyaar have approved a plan to allocate 25 percent of itsshare capital to foreigners, the company said on Saturday.
Atpresent, investors in Gulf Cooperation Council countries can own up to 49percent of Deyaar's shares; bourse data shows, while those from outside the GCChave not been allowed to own any stake.
Thecompany said the shareholders approved the allocation at a meeting on Thursday.Its share price jumped 11.8 percen.
"Withthe UAE joining the MSCI Emerging Markets Index, it is expected that manyglobal investors and institutions will adjust their emerging market allocationsto the UAE," Deyaar CEO Saeed Al Qatami said, commenting on the meeting.
"Weare confident, once implemented, the investor allocation will have a positiveimpact on the overall trading of the company's shares."
Thecompany's decision is part of a trend by companies in the United Arab Emirates and Qatar to reviewtheir foreign ownership caps before international index compiler MSCI raisesthose countries to emerging market status in May, which is expected to attractfresh foreign money.
