迪拜道路及运输局计划建设19座人行天桥

根据阿联酋通讯社报道今年将会建设7座桥，剩下的12座桥将在明面开工。

RTA董事会主席及执行董事Mattar Al Tayer表示“建设人行天桥来源于道路运输理事会对为行人穿越马路提供安全方式的承诺。天桥将会被建立在一些重要的位置，比如人流密集的道路两旁，有大量的商场和组织的地方和有较高事故发生率的地方。”

在四月份，RTA将会开始建立七座人行天桥，其中5座将会配备升降电梯。天桥将会在2015年第四季度完工。明年RAT将会建立剩下的12座天桥。

The Board of Directors of the Roads and TransportAuthority (RTA) has endorsed a plan to construct 19 pedestrian bridges in 2014and 2015 invarious vital parts of Dubai.

According to the Emirates News Agency (WAM), sevenbridges will be constructed this year, and the remaining 12 bridges are set forconstruction next year.

"Constructing footbridges stems from thecommitment of the RTA to provide safe means for pedestrians to cross roads. Thenew bridges will be constructed in a number of vital locations that have beenidentified in traffic studies focused on the dense movement of people betweenthe two sides of the road, areas with abundant shops and organisations, andlocations recording high run-over accidents (black points)," said MattarAl Tayer, RTA chairman of the Board and executive director.

"During April, RTA will start the construction ofseven pedestrian bridges, five of which will be fitted with lifts。The new bridges will be completed inthe last quarter of 2015。
