沙特最大工业城将于明年开始建造

据报道，沙特最大工业城将于2014年1月开始建造，沙特已经批准几十亿美金用于建造此项目，项目还将会吸引邻国卡塔尔大量资金的投入。

该项目将建在与卡塔尔接壤的Salwa沿海地带，沙特当局已经批准了项目的建设。计划将覆盖300平方公里。工业城的面积几乎是巴林总面积的40%。官方报道Salwa工业城和机场道路将在下个月启动建设。第一阶段的Salwa工业城项目将在10个月内完工。官方预计此项目是沙特最大的工业城项目。沙特工业城管理局管理着大约40个工业城，Salwa项目将容纳10000个工厂，并吸引几十亿美元的投资，提供超过600000个工作岗位。

Amultibillion dollar project to develop the largest industrial city of SaudiArabia will be launched in January 2014 and is expected to attract massivefunds from the Kingdom and neighboring Qatar, newspapers reported.The projectin Salwa coastal strip on the Gulf near the border with Qatar has been approvedby Saudi authorities and is planned to be built on an area of nearly 300 squarekilometers.The area of the industrial city is almost 40 percent the size ofBahrain. "The Salwa and the Airport Road Industrial City will be launchednext month," according to officials.The first phase of the Salwa projectwill be completed within 10 months and the officials expect this project to bethe largest industrial city in the Kingdom," according to the Saudi Arabiclanguage daily.In a recent statement, the Saudi Industrial CitiesAuthority, which manages about 40 industrial cities, said the Salwaproject would have a capacity to accommodate more than 10,000 factories andbillion dollar investments; providing over 600,000 jobs.
