卡塔尔近日又公布了一项大型基础设施建设，项目包括3座联通海底隧道的大型桥梁，预计2022年完工。

该Sharq项目下的桥梁跨度在600至1310米之间，将多哈新哈马德国际机场和卡塔拉文化区及西湾区中央商务区连成一体。

卡塔尔公共工程署(Ashghal)主席Nasser Ali-Mawlawi透露，该工程将于2015年正式动工，2021年完工。但未提及整个工程造价。

这个面积娇小，但天然气蕴藏丰富的国家为举办足球世界杯，花在基础设施建设上的预算高达1400亿美元，项目包括一个新国际机场、数座体育馆、公路和铁路系统等。

今年6月，卡政府和卡本国及国际承包商就多哈地铁一期工程签署的合同就高达82亿美元。

Mawlawi近日在接受路透社采访时表示，公共工程署在接下来的时间里还将投资270亿美元用于各类基础建设。

 

 

Qatar reveals huge infrastructure project

Qatar has announced one of the country’s largest infrastructure projects with the proposed construction of three bridges interconnected by subsea tunnels, to be completed before the World Cup in 2022.

The Sharq crossing project will include the bridges, spanning between 600m and 1,310m, linking Doha’s new Hamad International Airport with the city’s cultural district of Katara and the central business area of West Bay.

“Construction of the project will start in 2015 and completion will be by 2021,” Nasser Ali al-Mawlawi, the president of Qatar’s Public Works Authority, Ashghal, told a news conference on Monday.

The cost of the project has not been revealed.

The tiny, gas-rich country plans to spend as much as $140bn on infrastructure projects, including a new airport, stadiums, roads and railways, as it prepares to host the World Cup.

It awarded contracts worth $8.2bn in June to international and local contractors for the construction of phase one of the Doha Metro project.

Mawlawi said in an interview with Reuters that Ashghal planned to spend more than 100bn riyals ($27bn) on projects in the coming years.
