沙特投资2.7亿美元建航空学院

利雅得永恒服务公司(Infinity Support Services)和国际航班安全公司(Flight Safety International Company)签署了一份合作协议，投资2.7亿美元在利雅得建设一座航空学院（占地5万平方米）。

永恒服务中心CEO Obaid Al-Mozainy作为公司代表签署了这份协议，并表示该学院将是沙特唯一一座能够提供融合高科技航空器和高仿真仪器的航空学院，这将确保学员和导航员得到最好优质的培训。

Al-Mozainy同时补充道，该地区未来10年还将需要2万名飞行员。

“航空领域以每年需要2千名合格技术人才的速度增加，新建的航空学院将为航空各个领域内输送优秀人才。”

另外，民用航空总局(GACA)与阿尔法星球航空服务公司(Alpha Star Aviation Services)签订协议在利雅得建立一个私人航空中心。该中心占地4万平方米，是GACA鼓励私人加入航空领域的项目之一。

 

原文：Saudi Arabia to build $266.6maviation academy 

Riyadh-based Infinity Support Services and Flight Safety International Company have signed an agreement for the construction of a $266.6m (SAR 1bn) aviation academy which will be built on an area of 50,000m² in the Saudi capital.

Obaid Al-Mozainy, CEO of Infinity Support Services, signed the accord on behalf of his company and said that the academy will be the only one of its kind in the Kingdom which would offer a high-tech blend of the latest aircraft and simulation tools to ensure students and navigators get the best training.

Al-Mozainy added that the region would need 20,000 pilots during the next 10 years based on recent studies.

“The growing demand for 2,000 pilots a year underlines the need for technically qualified people in the aviation sector,” he said, adding that the new academy would attempt to fulfill these needs by training people across all sections of the aviation industry.

Meanwhile, GACA has signed an agreement with the Alpha Star Aviation Services to set up a private aviation centre in Riyadh. The facility is to be built on an area of 40,000m² as part of GACA’s program to encourage the participation of the private sector.
