If you already have a contractor, please complete Stand Designs Submission Form, Contractor Agreement and Performance Bond Form and return to the Operations Department.

主办方都会要求展商的搭建公司提前提交搭建申请，审批搭建效果图，缴纳保证金（防止非法劳工、损害展馆、垃圾清理等）。另外，搭建公司联系主办方后，主办方还会告知进出馆次序，搭建须知等。

BUILD-UP & BREAKDOWN SCHEDULE
搭建和撤展操作安排
Please refer to the exhibition schedule in the manual for dates and times of build-up, open and breakdown.

It is the responsibility of the exhibitor to ensure that the appointed contractors are able to construct the stand within the time allocated; failure to do so may result in heavy fines and/or closing of a stand, if deemed unsafe. Due to tight time frames, we insist that your stand is prefabricated off site and assembled on site.

搭建和撤展都有严格的时间，组委会建议搭建商提前做好搭建部件，这样在现场直接组装就可以了。

A detailed breakdown letter will be distributed to all stands during the show open period, listing the procedures for a smooth and safe breakdown, please make sure that as an exhibitor you distribute this letter to your contractor so they are fully aware of the set procedures and therefore will not delay the breakdown.

BUILD-UP SCHEDULE FOR SPACE ONLY STANDS

光地搭建要求（以2012年迪拜big5为例）

• Delivery of building material may be delivered at 08:00hrs on 01st November, please insist that your contractor is at the halls at this time.
• ALL stand construction and building materials must be removed from the halls by 08:00hrs on 04th November, thus enabling exhibitors to complete their stand dressing until 22:00hrs on 04th November.
• The aisle carpet will be laid from xxx; therefore it is essential that empty containers, waste materials and scaffold towers are removed from the hall by this time.
• Should you experience any delays in clearing the aisles we ask for your co-operation that you contain any items in one area to reduce unnecessary blocking of the aisles.
• Please note that the Organiser reserve the right to remove any stand building materials from the halls past the deadline given and any fees incurred by the Organiser will be charged back to the exhibitor/contractor.

BREAKDOWN OF STANDS & EXHIBITS

• Exhibits or stand fittings cannot be removed or dismantled before 19:00hrs on 08th November
• The official on-site freight handler will bring all crates and boxes back to the stands from 19:30hrs onwards.
• Contractor’s vehicles will be led to the freight yard by venue traffic marshals, please bear in mind that this process can take about 2 to 3 hours after the Exhibition has closed.
• Exhibitors are responsible for their contractors. All stand fittings and waste materials must be removed from the venue by 17:00hrs on 10th November. A charge will be levied should the Organiser have to arrange the removal of any items or stands which have yet to be dismantled past the above mentioned time. This also applies to materials left in the loading yard – photographic evidence will be taken.

CONCOURSE STANDS
双层搭建的展位有额外要求

• Double decker stands and stands above 4m in height will not be permitted in the concourse.
• Due to Health & Safety to the public and hygiene standards needed for the food outlets within the concourse, all stands in the concourse must be prefabricated and assembled onsite. Cutting, welding, grinding or spray painting will NOT be permitted.
• If your stand is located on the concourse the Marble floor must be protected during build-up and breakdown, you must ensure that your contractor places protective covering under your stand prior to build up to protect the floor from direct contact to your stand build. Carpet must be laid around the perimeter of your stand to house materials and stand fittings.
• Forklifts are not allowed on the concourse under any circumstances, whilst permission is required from the Venue to bring cherry pickers onto the concourse, if approved, strict guidelines must be adhered to.
• Rules and regulations within this section also relate to Concourse stands, please make sure you read all the sections carefully.
• Rigging of any kind will not be permitted within the Concourse
• Concourse stands have a weight limit of 1000kg per m2.

CONSTRUCTION MATERIAL
对搭建材料也是有要求的
Ensure that details of your construction materials are submitted with your stand design. All materials should be fire retardant; a certificate to certify this may be requested at any time.

DAMAGE TO VENUE
不能损害展馆的地面和墙体，否则会产生罚款

• Damage caused to the fabric of the exhibition building by an exhibitor / contractor will be charged by the venue via dmg events. Under no circumstances should an exhibitor / contractor attempt to repair any damages caused.
• It is in the interest of the exhibitor / contractor to check the condition of stand site before the building of a stand commences and after its clearance.

DESIGN APPROVAL
搭建设计图一定要在截至日期之前发给组委会审批，否则现场时不能搭建的（最容易忽略的一条）

• Name and contact details of the stand contractor and a list of sub-contractors must be forwarded to the organizers no later than the deadline date of 01st October 2012.
• A full set of working drawings must be submitted. These drawings must give full specification of materials; column beam joists connection details, electrical details and hanging structures including a 3D perspective view.
• Whether approved or not all double decker stands will be subject to a charge of AED1000 by the venue. Each subsequent submission thereafter will be charged at a rate of AED500. These charges will be passed on to the exhibitor or contractor.
• The organizers have the right to reject any stand plan that they deem to be:
• Structurally unsafe
• Considered to be too difficult to be completed in the time specified
• Does not conform to the specifications listed in the manual
• Likely to unreasonably affect nearby exhibitors sites in any way.
• No major structural changes will be permitted to the stand once approval has been given.
• All stands will be subject to an onsite engineering inspection by the venue and may be liable for adjustments. Stand structures failing to comply with the Dubai International Exhibition Centre engineering requirements may be closed. The Organiser reserve the right to prevent the building of any stand which they may consider to be unsafe.
