2014年中东咖啡需求预计上升

据Economist Intelligence Unit，Byblos研究，中东地区的咖啡消费量预计在2014-2015年期间上涨，但不同的地区增长会有不同趋势。

经济增长和政治稳定将推动商品的需求，特别是在沙特阿拉伯，它是海湾国家最大的咖啡消费国。预计在2014年的第一季度阿拉伯咖啡咖每磅价格较上一季度上涨12%，每磅140美分。同时罗布斯塔咖啡的价格预计增长11.8％，提高到95美分每磅。

Economist Intelligence Unit, Byblos Research, The Middle East region's coffee consumption is expected to rise duringthe 2014-15 period, but there will be different trends within the region. Assuch, the political and economic instability in Syriaand Egypt, among others,would negatively affect the demand for coffee.However, economic growthand politically stability would drive the commodity's demand, particularly in Saudi Arabia,the region's largest coffee consumer. Arabica cof-fee prices are forecast torise by 12% quarter-on-quarter to $140 cents per pound on average in the firstquarter of 2014, while Robusta prices are projected to increase by 11.8% to $95cents per pound in the covered quarter.
