阿拉伯航空宣布本月18日开始将开通第十条飞往沙特的航线，目的地为胡富夫市(Hofuf)。胡富夫市成为阿拉伯航空在全球的第87个目的地。

航班为每周的一、三、四、六四个班次。

阿拉伯航空CEO Adel Ali表示，此次航班标志着阿拉伯航空的目标在一步步实现，阿航空计划在沙特全境开设航线。

“我们将继续考量这个充满活力的市场，力求将物超所值的服务带到沙特每个城市。我们相信阿联酋和沙特间紧密的航线将对两国社会、经济强化做出进一步贡献。”

Ali补充道，阿航空5年内计划再新增2条航线，但现在仍在考察中。

据悉，胡富夫市是沙特阿拉伯中东部最大城市。人口10.1万（1983）。位于东方省最大的绿洲（艾赫萨绿洲）内，海拔131米。四周椰枣园绿树成荫，气候温和。原为哈萨省首府。本世纪三十年代首府迁往达曼以后，胡富夫仍为重要的农产品市场，稻米贸易甚盛。手工业精制驼毛斗篷与镶金匕首。工业有水泥、椰枣加工与织布厂。并设有王家养马场。胡富夫石油资源极为丰富，附近的加瓦尔油田是世界最大的油田。

Air Arabia set to launch 10th route to Saudi Arabia

Air Arabia, the Sharjah-based low-cost carrier, said on Tuesday it plans to launch its 10th route to Saudi Arabia later this month.

The airline announced in a statement that it will start flights to Hofuf from November 18.

The four weekly flights to the Eastern Province in the kingdom marks the airline's 87th global destination, it added.

Air Arabia will offer services to Hofuf on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

"We are delighted to launch the regular service to Hofuf-Al Ahsa'a, which testifies our promise to expand our Kingdom-wide presence," said Adel Ali, Group CEO, Air Arabia.

"As we are committed to offering our value-for-money services to even more destinations in the Kingdom, we will continue to evaluate opportunities in this vibrant market. That said, we are confident that the increased air connectivity between the UAE and Saudi Arabia will further contribute to the ever strengthening social and economic ties between both nations."

Ali last month said it is hoping to add two additional hubs over the next five years.
