阿布扎比卢浮宫将于2015年阿联酋国庆节正式开放

                 

据报道，阿联酋萨迪亚特岛上的三个博物馆项目之一的阿布扎比卢浮宫，将于2015年12月正式开放。

艺术媒体机构报道，法国文化部部长Aurélie Filippetti，已经宣布该馆将于2015年12月2日，即阿联酋国庆节对外开放。

   阿布扎比卢浮宫是阿联酋和法国政府间的协议。展出的艺术品是为了说明人类共同的主题和亮点，超越地域、历史和文化的限制。

   报道引用了巴黎卢浮宫主任Jean-Luc Martinez的话，300件杰作将会在阿布扎比卢浮宫进行展出。

   今年5月，旅游开发和投资公司开始建设阿布扎比卢浮宫的圆顶。圆顶建设计划将在2014年底完成。圆顶的直径达180米，预计其重量将超过7000吨，相当于埃菲尔铁塔的重量。圆顶将仅有四个支撑点。

TheLouvre Abu Dhabi, the first of three museums planned for the emirate's SaadiyatIsland, will open in December 2015, ithas been reported.

AurélieFilippetti, the French Minister for Culture, has announced that the museum willopen its doors on December 2 2015, the UAE's National Day, Art Media Agencysaid.

TheLouvre Abu Dhabi was conceived through an intergovernmental agreement betweenthe UAE and France. Exhibited artworks are to illustrate universal themes andhighlight common human accordances that stretch beyond geographical, historicaland cultural constraints, it added.

It quotedJeanLuc Martinez, director of the Louvre in Paris, as saying that 300 masterpieces havenow been selected for loan to the Louvre Abu Dhabi.

In May,the Tourism Development and Investment Company (TDIC) began work on thedistinctive dome on Louvre Abu Dhabi.Work on the dome is expected to becompleted by the end of 2014. The dome which has a diameter of 180 metres andis expected to weigh more than 7,000 tonnes - almost the weight of the EiffelTower,will be supported in four points only.
