近日，卡塔尔宣布了多项大型基础建设项目。
Sharq是其中一个大型项目，包括3座跨度在600至1310米之间的大桥。大桥将多哈新Hamad国际机场以及多哈文化区域Katara和西岸中心商务区域相连接。Sharq桥梁方面的设计将有西班牙建筑师Santiago Calatrava完成，建筑师称建筑设计是受到“飞鱼”形象的灵感。其中一个桥梁将有两个甲板。项目将在2022年世界杯举办前完成。
卡塔尔市政部门负责人Nasser Ali al-Mawlawi告诉记者：“项目将在2015年开始建造，2021年完成建设。”项目的总价格没有被透露。
为了世界杯做准备，卡塔尔计划在基础设施建设上花费1400亿美金，包括新机场，体育馆，道路和铁路。在2013年6月，卡塔尔已经和国际及当地的建筑承建商签署了价值82亿美金的多哈地铁项目。
Qatarhas announced one of the country’s largest infrastructure projects with theproposed construction of three bridges interconnected by subsea tunnels, to becompleted before the World Cup in 2022.The Sharq crossing project will includethe bridges, spanning between 600mand 1,310m,linking Doha’s new Hamad International Airport with the city’s culturaldistrict of Katara and the central business area of West Bay.“Construction ofthe project will start in 2015 and completion will be by 2021,” Nasser Alial-Mawlawi, the president of Qatar’s Public Works Authority, Ashghal, told anews conference on Monday.The cost of the project has not been revealed.Thetiny, gas-rich country plans to spend as much as $140bn on infrastructureprojects, including a new airport, stadiums, roads and railways, as it preparesto host the World Cup.It awarded contracts worth $8.2bn in June tointernational and local contractors for the construction of phase one of theDoha Metro project.The bridges on the Sharq project were designed by Spanisharchitect Santiago Calatrava and inspired by the image of flying fish, Ashghalsaid in a statement. One of the bridges will have atwo-deck structure.
